Why we exist
We’re here to help first home buyers
Falconer Homes created Leap to bring architecturally designed affordable homes to eligible KiwiBuild buyers.
Navigating the complex process of buying a home is never easy, especially when it’s your first time. As a division of Falconer Homes, our role at Leap is to focus on the needs of early-stage buyers, so every Leap home is relevant to your needs, and within your price range.
We also offer support and expert guidance on the steps in your home buying journey, like connections to mortgage brokers and help in understanding the buying process. We’re here to help simplify securing your new home.
What we believe
Grounded in a philosophy of thoughtful buildings, Falconer’s primary focus is on developing low-rise, medium density dwellings that make the most of contemporary urban design principles, incorporating intelligent architecturally-led design into both buildings and landscapes. We aim to meet the needs of New Zealand’s growing communities in a sustainable way, and importantly, take a selective approach to locations, with a focus on lifestyle accessibility ensuring nearby schools, parks and transport, alongside equity and growth potential. Through Leap, we bring exacting standards and industry experience to our KiwiBuild properties just as we do for any other home we build.
What it means for you
Value without compromise
We work hard to pass on better value to you as a home buyer. We retain an enduring commitment to an aspirational design aesthetic and to high quality construction. We use Falconer’s buying power and scale to secure higher spec fixtures and fittings at lower costs and with our own Leap sales team, we don’t pay commission to real estate agents. We’re dedicated to efficiency, and to ensuring affordable can still be aspirational.
Building on solid foundations
With a significant number of successful, architecturally-designed developments in both Auckland and Queenstown under our belt, Falconer Homes has built a reputation for quality and style in building contemporary Kiwi homes. We are New Zealand owned and operated, and work with leading industry partners including award-winning architecture consultancies and experienced builders.
